| Our current aussie keeper and a good rising keeper. Given Haddin is fit do you think he should go straight back into the one-day team despite Paine being in very good form. |

| Good question.
Brad Haddin is what, 32? To be honest I would like to see Timmy Paine continue to be our wicket-keeper in ODI's and T20's. That would allow Haddin to focus on Test cricket and probably prolong his career in the Test arena. Also, the more experience Paine gets at International level will serve him in great stead for the future. Because he will eventually step up and become our next Test wicket-keeper IMO.
In summary this is what I would like to see:
T20 wicket-keeper - Tim Paine ODI wicket-keeper - Tim Paine Test wicket-keeper - Brad Haddin _________________ |

| I agree with you Panthers. But knowing the selection board they'll chuck Hadds straight back in. In T20s + ODIs Haddin is much more dangerous than Paine so I think Hadds will come back in. I'd like Paine to play but i reckon Haddin will come straight back in. |

| Yeah, knowing what the selectors have done in the past, Haddin is almost a certainty to come back into the side in all forms of the game. But it would be harsh on Tim Paine if he gets dropped, he has done nothing wrong in his career to date. At least keep him in the T20 XI! _________________ |

| I actually think Haddin is better suited to T20 than Paine so I'd put him in that team but leave Paine as ODI keeper as an agressive type is not needed when opening in ODI's |

| I'll just put this out there. A good GLOVEsman saves maybe 10 runs an innings over other average keepers and maybe gets a catch/stumping that others wouldn't once a match. Surely that effect is worth maybe 14-15 runs. Manou has an ability to average 30-33, Paine & Haddin about 36-40 IMO, I reckon Manou is a MUCH better keeper. |

| Hads straight back in.. Timmy will bide his time.. Shame really since timmy is in superb form and im a big fan but we cant forget about hads completely, not his fault he got injured and he was in nice touch before his injury. Paine still has to prove himself at state level, he is by no means a standout so hopefully he piles on the runs for tassy. _________________ RIP Marco Simoncelli 1987 - 2011

| Paine. Only because when Dighton replaces Watson at the top of the order, he and Paine gel very well. |

Dighton will never replace Watson at top of order If he does its the biggest joke since David Warner getting a game |

Get out of it. Dighton is a star, and with Hopes injured, Watson should drop down to the lower order. I think it'd be a great move for Australia. Having said that, Dighton is 32 so that is that only thing that's going against him.
And Dighton > Warner, everyday of the week. Warner is an absolutely bunny. |
