| Been about a year since we've busted out on of these, so with the end of year tours in full force I thought it was about time to do another, plus I am bored as....SO make a 22 of players from each hemisphere. _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/RocknrollHendo

| The only changes id make to the southern hemisphere team is Ma'a Nonu at 12. And possibly Jane on the wing instead of Sivivatu |

| I just realised I put no Australians in the starting line up and going over it again I can see why... I rate Nonu and Fourie pretty evenly just think Fourie all up has had a better season, although he does spend most his time in 13. Sivi I sure wasn't sold on, but don't really think many if any are more deserving. _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/RocknrollHendo

Yea after the season they've had I dont think there can be too many arguments there.
Robinson would probably get closest although I'd still go with Woody too given how long he's been dominant in that position.
And while AAC's been their best player by some margin this year, his versatility is also what makes him the perfect bench man. |

Na mate, thats how I'd go too. Only possible option is whether Thorn would suit a bench spot over someone line say Danie Russouw who can cover lock/blindside? Would be happy either way though because Thorn has been huge for us this year. All up thats a hell of a team that would give the NH boys a right walloping I reckon. Hell, they'd never see the ball with McCaw and Brussouw working in tandem. |

| Yea I would love to see Brussouw and McCaw on the same team. Fair point about Thorn, just didn't want to leave him out.
They definitely should have a match like this, even if it was this time of year over there I wouldn't mind. It would be HUGE! _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/RocknrollHendo

| Hell - and TBF there are quite a few NH players producing the goods so that a top-flight combined team would do really well. |

| Had some spare time so thought i would update the Southern Hemisphere team.
1. Tony Woodcock (New Zealand) 2. Bismarck du Plessis (South Africa) 3. Ben Alexander (Australia) 4. Brad Thorn (New Zealand) 5. Victor Matfield (South Africa) 6. Rocky Elsom (Australia) 7. Richie McCaw (New Zealand) 8. Kieran Read (New Zealand) 9. Will Genia (Australia) 10. Daniel Carter (New Zealand) 11. Bryan Habana (South Africa) 12. Ma'a Nonu (New Zealand) 13. Conrad Smith (New Zealand) 14. James O'Connor (Australia) 15. Mils Muliana (New Zealand)
16. Keven Mealamu (New Zealand) 17. CJ van der Linde (South Africa) 18. Nathan Sharpe (Australia) 19. David Pocock (Australia) 20. Piri Weepu (New Zealand) 21. Quade Cooper (Australia) 22. Adam Ashley Cooper (Australia)
Some 50/50 calls i have made. There are definitely huge amounts of talent left out, could make 2 very good teams.
I was going to do the Northern team but thought i'd leave something for my main man Hendo lol.

| haha I'll need to see the rest of the End of Year Tour to really get an idea.
But there are some massive calls in your side I reckon.
I wouldn't have an Aussie prop near the 22. Franks Bros, and the Beast.
Hard to leave out Pierre Spies too even though Read was in better form during the Tri-Nations, Spies had an awesome Super 14. I'd almost be tempted to move Richie to 6, start Pocock at 7 Spies in 8 and put Read on the bench.
If we are basing it on this season form alone, no way would Habana be in the side! Cory Jane should get a spot.
Also Bismark has been injured for sometime, only just made his return, Mealamu however has been in fine form and I think deserves that starting spot. _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/RocknrollHendo

| I was tempted to put Owen in there but went with Alexander. Yeah wasn't sure on Bismark, but fair of man love there for him and VD Linde lol.
I dont think Spies deserves a spot, definitely half the player he was last year. But yeah really tried to find room in there for Pocock but the bench spot will have to do.
Yeah Habana was 1 of those 50/50 calls too, couldnt separate him and Jane really. |
