This conversation was bought up in the chatbox for a bit last night. Sprooly and I both believe it's better to hand in the money, but others thought otherwise

I'd probaly hand the wallet back in, but I might take a little money doing so.

Imagine if you were the one who lost the wallet, you'd definitely want it back. For that reason I'd hand it in.

Just don't hand it into the police station. My mum found a wallet recently, took it to the police station and was given the third degree, the cops pretty much wanted her to confess she stole it.

Also if i lost my wallet, its not really the cash that i would care about losing, its more my licence, atm card and credit card which are always a bitch to replace.

yeahhh i lost my wallet, had my key card in it and my mates victory membership...its gonna be a hassle

i would check the drivers license and ring the house thats on it looking for the person. after that if they want it they can come get it. wouldnt take anything out of it

I'd hand it into the cops grow some balls people they aren't that mean. You get the money if no one claims it and generally if you do hand it in and someone collects you get a small reward anyway

Id take the money and turf the wallet, for people would do the same if mine was lost

Take a bit of money and anonymously hand in the wallet. All the cards and shit would mean nothing to anyone but are a bitch to replace. If I lost my wallet I wouldn't mind if someone took 50 bucks aslong as I get all my cards and shit
