Laughing Saves Boomer the hard work, gets members back, gets more members in, and give us what we've wanted Razz. It's win win!

Have no idea who Caity is but saw NUDE and HER and that is all I need Smile

I would be happy giving a new banner a go if we all had ideas on who we wanted on there?

Clarke/Watto, Rose/Wade, Buddy, Thurston, Nadal, Carter, Messi/Ronaldo/Beckham, Piss off Tiger and chuck in maybe Casey Stoner or Floyd Mayweather.

Stoke I am happy for that to be out there, infact on our new information page I have all about it (just spent two weeks typing it all up) - however get disappointed when:
A) People judge me who have either been told one side of the story, or don't want to know the other side of it. Or just want someone to blame.

B) I have been to the website many times under a few different names attempting to clear my name and I get banned, posts deleted or no matter what is said it turns into an anti-merk thread.

To be honest it has reached the point that it is close to four years that it has been going on, that I have tried on at least four occasions (not counting the first two weeks after it all happened) to sort things out that I think I have tried enough.

The way I really see it, I attempted to help out a website, it didn't work out we learn from our mistakes and move forward.

I don't like being known as a scammer as my website have donated every cent of the money we have received from our advertising to various charities over the years, with many of them sending out the challenge to my members that every dollar they raise I will personally match it - this has raised over $5000 for various charities over the past three years.

I am not a bad person, however am at the point now where I just don't care - the effort has been made numerous times, and during those times not one person has contacted me.

Anyway back to talking about this site, I have a good idea for the banner I am just working on the logistics of it Smile

Mayweather would be good, or the Pacman.

Lebron should still be up there, just in a different jersey.

No as I over-wrote the entire old forum with our new site. However this is the software that it has: https://www.vbulletin.com/index.php?do=features - it is the Publishing Suite software, with branding free purchased.

Not to mention an updated version of the fantasy cricket script that is used on: http://www.world-a-team.com/fantasycricket/ (I paid for the guy who created that script to create one for the new version of the software and we were the only site to have it.)

This is what the forum software is like: https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum.php however with about 20minutes of work can have something completely unique, and they also have vbulletin.org which is filled with website addons.

As you can see from my site I have moved away from vBulletin to invision power services (http://www.invisionpower.com/) and have absolutely no use for the vBulletin stuff AT ALL - and none of their stuff works on Invision Power.

I thought I was coming here, seem Panthers and I were close to a deal in the past, and doing the right thing by offering to transfer all ownership of those licenses to him for free however have both you and sh!t-for-brains attacking me for attempting to help out a website and help ensure you guys continue to grow.

Did either of you think that with spending 16 hours a day working - YES WORKING on my site organizing advertising, organizing marketing, writing articles working on improvements etc that I wouldn't like to come to a website that wasn't mine, that I wouldn't need to do anything on and just share my thoughts and talk about sport without having to be completely Politically Correct?

That is why I first signed up here, due to the dealings in the past with Panthers is the reason the first place I came was to this site to offer that stuff to him.

VBulletin is a good software but......you have to pay for it

Which is why I was giving Panthers my license (yes I said giving it to him) and then after the discussions I realized it wouldn't be a popular move so didn't contact him.

If panthers wanted to move this site to vBulletin plus addons that I have purchased he could do it all free of charge.

I agree it is the members that make the place which is why threads like this, asking what the members want to see, how they want to improve it is always a good idea.

well i don't know what part your missing but he was going to be given the software so he would be getting it for free.

Secondly free forum software does have it's limitations, even your SMF forums have it's limitations whereas paid software tends to have more coders and designers working for it where they are always focused on improvement.

But as it has been said about 37 and a half times now we are over talking about the software and we are onto things that can actually improve the site.

See absolutely no harm and only good in moving to a vbulletin forum tbh. if we're offered it for free, take it. The admins and mods would love the difference, as would the members.

Take his offer, then if you don't like it, move back to this - it's easy.

Take a risk imo, if it doesn't work, change back. Can only do good for our struggling forum.
