The biggest match in the AFL home and away season for Western Australian residents, the Western Derby. These matches are always physical, ruthless, and always exciting. Fremantle won both encounters last season, and I'm sure the Eagles are looking for revenge this time around.

Matt Priddis vs Michael Barlow

Matthew Pavlich vs Darren Glass (when Pav goes forward)

anyway im hoping for a contest and think Freo will get over the line, should be good to watch and a fantastic crowd and atmosphere.

Yeah in past seasons it's been the one game where they actually step up and play good footy.

I dont think we'll see Barlow on Priddis both the major ball winners for their respective sides

Ill go Freo for this one, even though im not enjoying everyone getting on the bandwagon

This could, IMO, be a danger game for Freo.

I know that sounds silly, but every Derby since I can remember, the Eagles were the clear best team, and Fremantle get up and win.

Since Freo are favourites, I'm getting the feeling Murphy's Law might kick in and the Eagles finally snag one.
