Really can't understand the decision, he moves to Brisbane to be closer to his family etc and now he's moving to a rival code and away from Brisbane. Anyway thanks for the memories big Izzy, in particular in State of Origin. Cool

I simply cannot believe he has done this. His main motivation in coming home to Brisbane was to be closer to his family and his religion, now he decides to piss off to Sydney in the AFL. I really really really wanted him to stay at the Broncos because we have seen this season how dangerous he is. This is a massive loss for our club, couldn't have been worse tbh. Seeya later Izzy, enjoy all that money you'll be rolling in and forget about loyalty.

Great stuff from the AFL, well generate a lot of publicity for GWS. AFL a step ahead as always.

No doubt the money would have been too good to turn down, can't begrudge him at all for that - we all have to make a living and he's been given an opportunity to make bucket loads of cash, being the face of a brand new AFL side and taking on the challenge of a whole new sport.

It's always us that get hit hard when these other pricks from rival codes decide to raid league. Sailor and Tuqiri were the first big names to go to union and then even a lesser known Bronco in Barnes followed and now Hunt and Folau are the first 2 massive signings by AFL.

K. Hunt had a 'heart-to-heart' with him... why would anyone listen to Hunt?

Hunt may be living the life now cause he played 1 year in France (almost like a holiday for him) and now he is back in OZ with a whole year off before he starts his season with the AFL, living the life now BUT once he plays the sport of AFL for more than a year, he'll get sick of it... just like they all do. So why would anyone in their right mind listen to his advice? Thank God Thursto didnt.
