HAWTHORN V PORT ADELAIDESUNDAY AFTERNOON @ THE MCG Shaun Burgoyne (dog) takes on his former club for the first time since walking out on the Power at the end of last year. The Hawks have gotten themselves back in finals contention in recent weeks, and are sitting 11th on the table and just one win outside the top 8. Port Adelaide on the other hand are on a run of three consecutive defeats which has seen them drop out of the 8 on percentage. Big game for both clubs as they hope to make a push for finals football in 2010. 2009 MeetingsRound 4 @ MCG: Hawthorn 85 v Port Adelaide 115 Round 18 @ AAMI: Port Adelaide 121 v Hawthorn 103 OddsHawthorn: $1.40 Port Adelaide: $3.00 Should be a good game, we are at a juicy odds considering Hawthorn aren't really that good. Home ground advantage is what has them as favourites but we went there and won last year and I think we might see a complete turn around as we look to make amends for that embarrassing loss to Richmond. Port by 15 Get on it!

Tipping Hawthorn, but now I've finally stopped tipping Port, chances are they'll come up and start winning again

Should be a good game this, hope Burgoyne carves up. Buddy is a massive omission along with Campbell Brown. Roughead will need to be on his game or the Hawks forward line could be a rabble. Brogan, Ebert, Salopek and Hitchcock are all in doubt and will be tested tomorrow on the track, if they all play i think I'll be tipping Port. Also Motlop is back.

| As Max said omissions won't help us obviously Buddy is the key... Port will be fired up after last week which is a danger so i'm tipping the game to go right down to the wire. Definately need someone to step up and bag a few, perhaps Roughy is the man but he hasn't been great of late, Also need our defence to stand tall with the loss of Browny, I expect Hodgey to play down back for a fair chunk to steer the team and give us some leadership down in that area.. SB BOG..

STOP! HAMMER TIMEB: Jacob Surjan, Alipate Carlile, Troy Chaplin HB:Paul Stewart, Chad Cornes, Steven Salopek C: Jay Nash, Domenic Cassisi, Travis Boak HF: Matt Thomas, Daniel Stewart, David Rodan F: Brett Ebert, Jackson Trengove, Tom Logan R: Dean Brogan, Danyle Pearce, Kane Cornes Interchange from: Matthew Broadbent, Josh Carr, Jason Davenport, Hamish Hartlett, Daniel Motlop, Danny Meyer, Nick Salter In: Davenport, Hartlett, D Motlop, Meyer, Brogan Out: Cameron Hitchcock (shoulder), Justin Westhoff (omitted) He's back. If Brogan doesn't play, we lose. Stoked as to see his name there, hopefully he plays. I'm thinking Hammer, Motlop, Brogan and JD to come in for Hoff, Hitchcock, Broadbent and maybe Logan.

Motlop is bloody hopeless these days, he doesn't look like he's comfortable with the team and his performances have been shithouse, will be VERY lucky to hold his place after that. Nothing is working for us atm, We really need a key forward, why Jay Schulz didn't get a gig this week actually shocked me. 1.10 at one stage, is close to unheard of. We need a major forward line shuffle.
