Does anyone have an IPad/mucked around with one.. Thinking about going for a look this weekend i've only heard good reviews about them and they look pretty sweet.
I've got one, use it to read ebooks mainly, but it is useful to do light internet surfing, there are some sweet games and it's pretty good for some newspapers.

Still needs a few improvements for it to be a lot better though.

Got mine last night, $59 cap with Optus, absolutely loving it.

On a side note - anyone know how to check balance/data usage? There's an app I've found that will do it for you, looks really good, but just wondering if there's another way.

Depends who you are with I guess.

When you are with 3, the Planet 3 bookmark is in your bookmarks in Safari, and then you can just add it to your home page.

I wouldn't know how to with Optus sorry.

Yeah 3 is really good with that. They have an app for it.

Wouldn't have a clue about Optus though.

I use an app called 'Consume'. It can show your phone bill, how much data you have used, how internet you have used at home and a few other things, such as for Melbournians, how much money you have in your Myki if you have one. Not free, and i can't remember how much it costs, but it is the best one i have found.

Agreed.

A mate who already had a 3GS went out and got an iPhone 4 last week. Don't know why he would even bother.

Don't you need Wi-Fi connection for that game? Not saying it's bad, just wondering if you do.

I just downloaded that app and versing some random person and it looks fun. Sucks though if the person you're playing takes ages to make their word.

Just got my iphone 4 today, after losing my 3gs recently. Insurance hooked me up big time with the upgrade.

The VLC app is awesome, it lets you watch any file format on the iphone. You just add files under the file sharing section in the Apps tab in itunes.

Terrible product...

Don't know about everyone who has a phone, but I haven't had ONE single problem, either has anyone I know.

What are these problems meant to be?

But not an iPhone. I have enough issues telling my iPod Nano what to do, I'm not letting Apple make my phone as well.
