Post your A-league 2010-11 predictions here, and we can review them at seasons end.

Premier:
Melbourne victory
Champion: Melbourne Heart
Wooden spoon:
Brisbane Roar
Top Goalscorer:
Carlos Hernandez
Player of the year:
Carlos Hernandez
Best Goalkeeper:
Michael Theoklitos
Best Signing:
Robbie Fowler (Perth)
Best young player (Under 21):
Robbie Kruse
Final Table:
1. Melbourne Victory
2. Melbourne Heart
3. Sydney FC
4. Wellington Phoenix
5. Perth Glory
6 Central Coast Mariners
7. Gold Coast United
8. North Queensland Fury
9. Newcastle jets
10. Adelaide United
11. Brisbane Roar

The reason for me picking us to win the premiership but not the championship is because again we have to deal with the ACL fixture around finals time, which will test our depth immensely. Same as Sydney. Melbourne heart have impressed me, and I expect them to do well in their opening season.

there's 11 teams now mate, there's no Mariners in your list

Premier: Melbourne victory
Champion: Sydney FC
Wooden spoon: North Queensland
Top Goalscorer: Matthew Leckie/Gerald Sibon
Player of the year: Nick Carle
Best Goalkeeper: Tando Velaphi
Best Signing: Nick Carle/Scott Jamieson (Sydney)
Best young player (Under 21): Matthew Leckie
Final Table:
1. Sydney FC
2. Melbourne Heart
3. Perth Glory
4. Wellington Phoenix
5. Brisbane Roar
6. Melbourne Victory
7. Central Coast Mariners
8. Gold Coast United
9. Adelaide United
10. Newcastle Jets
11. North Queensland Fury

Victory won't be as strong up front without Archie, and i think some members of our squad will find this season a bit harder as they get older, Muscat, Pondeljak etc.

Brisbane will shock everyone and make finals, NQF will struggle to put the same team on the park, and sadly the Heart will finish top 2.

I can't see anyone beating Sydney though, good signings over the break and a promising squad

Premier: Heart
Champion: Victory!!
Wooden Spoon: Fury
POTY: Josip Skoko/Carle
Top Goalscorer: Sergio Van Djik
Best Keeper: Theokiltos
Best Signing: Carle/Skoko/Fowler
Best Young Player: Nathan Elasi to step up with the absence of Archie!

Too hard to predict a final ladder so i'll leave it at that

I think the Nicky Carle and Skoko signings will be great for the league, Carle tore the a-league apart with the Jets and Skoko is the man shouldnt have retired from internationals!

11. North Queensland Fury

Sydney will be the best team throughout the regular season but i reckon will falter in the finals. Mariners are the Dark Horse for me. They will either go strongly and play finals or not. Adelaide to improve drastically, Jets to go strongly at the start, then drop completely. Roar and Fury to battle for 10th spot with roar just in front to confine Fury to last.

Nicky Carle is gonna turn it alight at the SFS...such a good signing to replace Corica and I reckon he'll make more of an impact, just look at some of his highlights from his stint with the Jets, gets me excited, surely he'll replicate that form in the sky blue jersey. Fury had a pretty poor season last time and I expect them to finish bottom, so much off-field stuff going on that could very well affect the players. Melbourne Heart have a quality squad, looks so good on paper, but will they gel? They've got the squad to finish top, but this being their first season, I can't see them getting into the top few spots, but they will have a finals place. Even though Adelaide had a terrible season, I've been looking at their side and it's actually reasonably good compared to what it was last time, van Dijk and Flores are a couple of great signings. I reckon it'll be another season like 2009/10, with Sydney and Melbourne battling it out for the premiership and championship.

Bring it on!
