I know it's only Saturday night, but seeings as both Crows and Port have finished their matches for this week, I'd do this now.

Oh how times have changed since the conclusion of Port's round 6 triumph against us in the Showdown. We have since turned our 0-6 start to the season into a 7-9 record and still a chance to make the top 8.

Port were 4-2 after the Showdown, but now have a 5-11 record and have lost 9 of their last 10 games. Port's finals chances are well and truly gone now, but now have to avoid the club's first ever wooden spoon.

Adelaide: The Crows latest victory against the reigning premiers has re-ignighted their season, and should be clear favourites for this match. Nathan Bock should return from injury, while Chris Knights may have a slim chance of a return.

Port: Another loss for Port this weekend, this time against the Bulldogs at a boiling hot TIO stadium. After such a great start, leading 31-15 at quarter time, they could only manage an abysmal 16 points for the remainder of the game. Not the ideal start Care-taker coach Matthew Primus was after.

Daniel Motlop: This man was told this week it was his last chance to prove himself and that he deserves a spot in the side. Against the Bulldogs he only notched up 10 possessions, 5 marks, zero tackles and didn't even trouble the scorers. This is it for Motlop imo, he will be dropped. If Primus doesn't drop him, then that's a weak effort on his part. He said this was his last chance, now live up to your comment and drop him.

Final thoughts + tip: I cannot see Port getting close to us to be honest. We have won 4 in a row and have recently knocked off the reigning premiers Geelong. Kurt Tippett needs to stand up again, he could be the man to send us through for another victory. Believe it or not, Jay Schulz is Port's main avenue to goal in the past month or so. Hopefully Ben Rutten can shut him down.

I believe we will win this match by around 6 goals. COME ON ADELAIDE!!!

Port coming off a Darwin trip and after playing the Bulldogs they really have no hope and there is also the fact that Port's form is crap and the Crows are playing very well but Adelaide can not show up and they will still win thats how obvious the outcome is.

Like I said in another thread, this game worries me. As usual, Port will treat this as their grand final. After our performance last night though I'm pretty confidant we'll get up.

Would be hilarious if Crows fans brought spoons to the game.

The Crows should win. Port have been abysmal, even with a new coach and a new breed of players, they still choked tonight.

But it's a Showdown, and form counts for jack shit. Play like we did against Geelong though, and we should be too strong for them.

The Port fans have been quiet recently, let's see if a Showdown wakes them up (even if it's thread has been made a slightly teeny bit early)

I'm actually confident surprisingly off a 9-game losing streak. Sure Adelaide beat Geelong, whoopdeedoo. And the Darwin factor, F*** I hate when we play up there, and yes feldy, we have never won coming back from up there the next game. BUT new coach, new ways as someone said haha, I'm gonna tip us to win by 21 points with SCHULZAYYYY kicking 4.
