Citeh down 3-1 with the game as good as over.
3 straight losses for Mancini, if he loses the derby, it could be goodbye.

Liverpool won 3-1.
After being 1-0 down at HT, Gerrard came off the bench to score a hattrick in the final 15 minutes.

All hail Stevie G. So very lucky to be around to witness arguably the greatest Liverpool player ever strutting his stuff. A living legend.

Great assist by Dossena for his first, that was probably his best game for us Razz Loved Stevie telling the Napoli fans to shut the fk up, bunch of filth they are, loved when the camera went on their faces after the game, they looked shattered. Apparently it kicked off a bit before and after the game.

Loved the work of Lucas when he came on, Stevie's third goal was all him, bloody brilliant. Hopefully the Lucas haters are slowly starting to see what the lad is capable of.

Three wins on the trot feels nice, would love to make it four on Sunday. Massive game, hopefully we can lift but we're definitely the big under-dogs.

Suck on that City!! 3 straight losses in all comps.

Apparently a few friends of a friend of my friend play for Lech Poznan. That will be something to look back on.

A win or even a point should be enough to claim top spot from our match against Steaua.

Unfortunately from what I see the game isn't being televised. Anyone seen anything?

Juventus went out without losing a game, only problem was that they didn't win one either.

I remember in the Champions League about 6-7 years ago AEK Athens went out in the Group Stages the same way. Only team ever to have that happen.

That Liverpool Utrecht game was very dull and boring good to see Tommy Oar getting some game time as well...but lol at Foxsports who were saying that the result will heap more pressure on Hodgson...it was a dead rubber ffs the result didn't matter one bit we were going to finish on top regardless.

The draw for the last 32 is:

SSC Napoli v Villarreal CF
Rangers FC v Sporting Clube de Portugal
AC Sparta Praha v Liverpool FC
RSC Anderlecht v AFC Ajax
KKS Lech Poznań v SC Braga
Beşiktaş JK v FC Dynamo Kyiv
FC Basel 1893 v FC Spartak Moskva
BSC Young Boys v FC Zenit St Petersburg
Aris Thessaloniki FC v Manchester City FC
PAOK FC v PFC CSKA Moskva
Sevilla FC v FC Porto
FC Rubin Kazan v FC Twente
LOSC Lille Métropole v PSV Eindhoven
SL Benfica v VfB Stuttgart
FC BATE Borisov v Paris Saint-Germain FC
FC Metalist Kharkiv v Bayer 04 Leverkusen

-----------------------------------------------------------
The followed by the last 16:

Benfica/Stuttgart v BATE/PSG
Beşiktaş/Dynamo Kyiv v Aris/Manchester City
Rubin/Twente v Young Boys/Zenit
PAOK/CSKA Moskva v Sevilla/Porto
Lille/PSV v Rangers/Sporting
Metalist/Leverkusen v Napoli/Villarreal
Anderlecht/Ajax v Basel/Spartak Moskva
Sparta Praha/Liverpool v Lech/Braga

Happy with the 0-0 the other day. I'm confident we can finish off the job at Anfield.

You beauty Dirk Kuyt Grin So relieved that we scored that goal. We probably deserved to go through on the balance of play over the 2 legs.

Just a question, are Suarez and Carroll ineligable to play for us in the Europa League? If so, is that for the whole competition?

Is Suarez cup-tied? If so then I think that he can't play for the the duration of the tournament if thats the case...unsure regarding Carroll though.

Disappointing result this morning. 0-0 so we got down 1-0 on aggregate.

Great to see Carroll start. He started extremely well but fell away in the 2nd half.

I really thought we had a good crack at the competition so it's disappointing to go out.
