Surely we can make our way out of that group, Denmark will be tough but the others we should beat

Bosnia are good came 2nd in their WC QF group and lost to Portugal in the qualifier so I reckon that they are a challenge for France.

Pretty easy group for the Dutch.
Sweden will provide a little competition, but should still see them off.
The other teams shouldn't provide any challenge.

Scotland!! Found out recently that my background is part Scottish and so I'm following them now (behind Australia of course).

We've got a tough group but we'll finish at least in the top 3, Spain will top the group but we've got a chance of getting one over Czech Republic. Really hope we get through, the last time we played in the Euros was 14 years ago when the Poms had it on home soil. If we get through then we'll probably do so through a playoff. It's gonna be tough but I'm being optimistic we can do it.

We've got the two 'easybeats' in the group first up so hopefully we have two solid wins to kick off the campaign and go into the tough games on a high. Smile

I dunno. We've only got around 4-5 lads under the age of 25, but we've also only got 4-5 guys over the age of 30. So a lot of the players are around halfway through their careers, it's not really as if we need his experience for the young lads but it's also not if we need emphasis on youth at the moment (and therefore shouldn't pick him). He's still playing regularly for Rangers so I think he's still got plenty to contribute to our defence.

How many team go through from each group?

Would love to see Austria sneak through, but getting ahead of Germany or Turkey would be a tough ask.

One from each group plus the best 2nd-placed team. Then the rest of the 2nd-placed teams go to playoffs.

For me, my interest lies solely in Group C with Italy and Serbia both in that Group. Both should come top two, but considering the farce that was Italy at the 2010 World Cup, it's no certainty that they win the Group, especially as Serbia topped their 2006 and 2010 World Cup qualifying Groups ahead of Spain and France respectively. Still, with plans to go to Euro 2012, I'm really hoping both can get through to the the tournament though.
