| AFL Grand Final: Replay
Collingwood vs. St. Kilda After one of the greatest Grand Finals ever, the teams remained deadlocked. So, we're doing it all again this week. Put simply, who ya got? Go Saints!!! |

| Hope for the sake of it being a Grand Final, Goddard will get let off after putting his knee into someones head when they were on the floor. Any other game and knowing the MRP, I wouldn't be surprised to see them get a week. |

| I'm now going to tip St.kilda for this one they proved me wrong yesterday and I think they have it in them to knock off the Pies. |

Well Baz got off a few years back when he gave Goose a whack to the guts. |

| Probably should've just renamed the other thread.
Either way, I don't know what to expect of this replay. Will be interesting how both sides pull up. One thing I know for sure is that Pies have plenty of players who can perform much better than yesterday. Players like Dawes, Beams, Wellingham even players like Swan and Pendlebury can do better.
Will be a good game and it is going to be a bloody bitch having to wait for it again. Carn the Pies! |

it's not worthy of suspension anyway. In my honest opinion, he was trying to make Luke ball wear one, as I'm sure there's still some serious hostlity between the club and ball, but the contact was negligible and Id be suprised if he even got reported and had to face the MVP. Would have been interesting if someone did something seriously and got rubbed out for the return leg, bizarre circumstances too.
If Goddard misses the game, heads will roll. |

| Yeah definitely doesn't warrant a suspension.
Silly by Goddard though, obviously he didn't know that there was going to be a replay game, but if it had have been a bit worse, and worse enough to be out, a lot of people would be dirty on him. |

| Goddard will be fine The only one that will be looked at is Jolly on Kozi in last quarter
For changes, Gardiner will miss and Gram is 50/50. McQualter also might struggle to keep his place but he should be ok Davis might be in trouble as he did bugger all
Also question. If Gardiner doesnpt play and Saints win, does he get a medal? |

| Nah mcqualter will be fine, he layed 10 tackles
logical one is mcevoy for gardiner, and I'd expect gram to play but Geary to play if gram doesn't
and yeah I asked the same question Neil....will be interesting |

| Just thinking, you'd be shattered if you got suspended for 2 matches in the Preliminary Final. |

If Gram is fit to play, do you reckon Eddy's spot is under threat? Thought he was pretty poor apart from 5-10 mins in the final quarter. Baker will be better after the run on Saturday so that's another positive for your mob.
As for Pies' changes do you guys reckon Presti will come into their 22?
Will be interesting to see which players (if any) don't make it up for the game on Saturday.
Once again enjoy the week TGBY, Sparky & Scruffy._________________ |

Neither of them should be looked at. Even though they are different things, if one is looked at the other should be. If one is brushed away the other should be.
In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with either of them. Although keep in mind they said that things that happen in the GF are worth double MRP points. |

I think Jolly is fine as well It will be looked at though as it was a bit reckless really |

| Davis definitely has to make way for one of Goldsack or Presti. I thought Brown was okay but wouldn't be surprised if he was dropped for one of the two either. Leon Davis - 16 touches in three grand finals. |

nope, he should be fine.
He wasn't superb, but he doesn't get many possesions and stand out at all, he got rundown by maccafer but that can be excused as it is such a high intensity game. Ross Lyon has never been one to tinker dramtically with the team, and I suspect he is pretty happy with the 22 he picked. On top of that, who will come in??
Geary - no, he's had barely any finals experience and he doesn't have the high pressure, contested edge that eddy has
Armitage - possibly. I wouldn't mind seeing his pure attack on the footy and hard edged approach, plus he is relatively skillful, but again, no finals footy and consostency is a bigg issue
too risky to bring in untried players, stick with what you've got unless your hand is forced, plus I think eddy can do a solid enough role as a defensive forward/mid
Somewhat irrelevant, but how good was Gwilt on Saturday. Kept Dawes and cloke relatively at bay, rebounded like a running half back, and really stood up. He was magnificent, and ha been all year, really slipped under the radar, and was stiff not to be in AA contention. Every one of his stats are better or more impressive than Harry Obriens, and when Harry seemed to falter on the big stage, Gwilt only got better |

| I don't reckon Saints will make any other changes except for Gardiner out...but if they do I would say Eddy is a bit in front of McQaulter even though he had 10 tackles Eddy did a few important things in that last quarter which might give him the edge over him if there was another change. |

Brown will stay.
Goldsack in for Davis as much as it hurts me to say it.
I would love to see Presti have a chance at a premiership, but we can't play him, especially because Kozi will be doing more ruck work this week, we can't have both Presti and Brown down there imo. Although I wouldn't complain if Presti plays, as he does add a whole new aspect to our game.
You can't justify telling Nathan Brown right now that he isn't going to be playing in a grand final replay, after he came in just before finals has played good all through the finals and played good in the grand final. I just don't see them getting rid of him, he has been great. |

| how does presti add a whole new aspect??
He plays the same role as Brown, but would be lucky to accumulate 10 kicks this season. Not undermining his defensive skills, but how does he add a new dimension? |
