So who's everyone's tip for the Shield?

1. Victoria
2. Queensland
3. New South Wales
4. South Australia
5. Tasmania
6. Western Australia

Fellas, lets also do previews for matches as like we would if the match was made for a singular thread.

Well we rolled WA for 190 and sent them into bat again. They're 5/271 at Stumps on Day 3 and only trail by 16 runs. D. Pattinson got 8/35 in the 1st innings. What a performance. He has a wicket in the 2nd innings so he's gonna get a 10fer you'd think.

It's currently Stumps on Day 2 in SA vs NSW. NSW made a huge score of 6/529 (dec) led by Khawaja's 214. SA are currently struggling in reply at 4/56. Blizzard came in at no. 4 for SA and is currently on 16*.

WA vs Victoria - Victoria won by 6 wickets.

Great win by our boys, a great way to kick off our quest for back to back to back titles Smile

It really was a dominant performance. Set up by McDonald's 163 off 116 balls and Darren Pattinson's 8/35 in the 1st innings (finished with 9 wickets)

SA vs NSW - NSW won by 10 wickets.

A dominant performance by NSW. They only required 6 runs in their 2nd innings to win the match.

Usman Khawaja set the scene for NSW scoring 214 in the first innings of the match. NSW then bowled SA out for 255 with Blizzard scoring 96 in his first knock for SA. Henriques picked up 4/53 and Copeland and O'Keefe picked up 3 a piece.

They were sent in again and were bowled out for 279. Steve O'Keefe picked up 4/90 and Stuart Clark picked up 3 wickets.

NSW really do look dangerous this season, they've got Brett Lee back no as well.

Of that sucks mate. How's the ground like? Are the boundaries small?

well in the off-season, I think Soccer and Union are played on it. Its a pretty big ground. Has the Cycling track around it. I can say its one of the best ground to play cricket around NSW.

Victoria vs Tasmania kicks off tomorrow in Melbourne.

Victoria are coming off a strong victory against WA whilst Tassie are going to have their first real hitout after their match against QLD was rained out.

Lets go Vics!

Victoria: ??

Tasmania: George Bailey (c), Travis Birt, Luke Butterworth, Steve Cazzulino, Mark Cosgrove, Ed Cowan, Xavier Doherty, Alex Doolan, Adam Griffith, Ben Hilfenhaus, Brady Jones, James Faulkner
---
You would have to fancy the Vics at home, they're always tough to beat in Melbourne. Obviously the Tasmanian's have been playing some quality One Day Cricket, can they bring that form into the longer form of the game? Any word on your XI C11? Tipping the Vics to claim a hard fought win.

DEC Bushrangers: Michael Hill, Chris Rogers, Aaron Finch, David Hussey (c), Andrew McDonald, Matthew Wade (wk), Rob Quiney, Damien Wright, Peter Siddle, Darren Pattinson, Bryce McGain, William Sheridan (12th)
PKF Tasmanian Tigers: Steven Cazzulino, Ed Cowan, Alex Doolan, George Bailey (c), Mark Cosgrove, Travis Birt, Luke Butterworth, Brady Jones (wk), Xavier Doherty, Ben Hilfenhaus, Adam Griffith, James Faulkner (12th)

Tasmania 9/315 at Stumps.

Mark Cosgrove was the man today, 159 he scored including 22 fours and 2 sixes.

Damien Wright was the pick of the bowlers with 4/49 and my man Dave Hussey picked up 2/14 Very Happy

Well I reckon we're on top, hopefully we can knock Tassie over for no more than 325.

On a good note, 95 overs were bowled today.
