Another blockbuster weekend of Barclays Premier League action is upon us. The weekend kicks off with a lunch-time kickoff at White Hart Lane between Tottenham at Everton.

That is followed by five interesting match-ups from around the country. League leaders Chelsea host Wolves at Stamford Bridge, Ian Holloway's Blackpool travel to Birmingham, an intriguing match-up at the Stadium of Light sees Sunderland tackle Aston Villa, high-flying West Brom are up against Fulham and Wigan take on Bolton.

Saturday's action is rounded off with sellar dwellers West Ham at home against Newcastle United.

Sunday looks set to be an action packed day of football. The Wayne Rooney saga has dominated news this week and Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United travel to Stoke in what will be a very tricky match for the Red Devils.

Liverpool are struggling massively this season and find themselves in unfamiliar territory in 19th place. They will be desperate for a win when they host Blackburn at Anfield.

The weekends action is rounded-off with 2nd placed Manchester City vs 3rd placed Arsenal in what is undoubtedly the match of the round.

Saturday, 23 October
Tottenham vs Everton
Birmingham vs Blackpool
Chelsea vs Wolves
Sunderland vs Aston Villa
West Brom vs Fulham
Wigan vs Bolton
West Ham vs Newcastle

Sunday, 24 October
Stoke vs Man United
Liverpool vs Blackburn
Man City vs Arsenal

My tips for the round are: Tottenham, Chelsea, Sunderland, West Brom, Wigan and Man City. The rest to draw.

Really hope we can get a win at home. I'm really not sure what to expect though. This is a real chance to get our season back on track if we can get a win here, just to give all Liverpool players + supporters I bit of confidence. Cmon Pool.

Oh man not feeling confident at all for the Blackburn game have a feeling we will draw this one.
I think Tottenham will be too strong for Everton while Birmingham will overcome Bkackpool. Chelsea should win easily while Sunderland and Villa I think will be a draw. West Brom have a great chance to continue on their merry run with them playing Fulham think they can win that one. Wigan Bolton I have no idea just tip a draw...while I think Newcastle will beat West Ham leaving them in big trouble. I believe Stoke can get up here can really see that happening and same with Man City...beat Chelsea a few weeks back so they should have no reason to feel the underdogs there.

Should be a good weekend of EPL action. My pick of the Saturday night games is Tottenham hosting Everton. It'll be interesting for me to see how the Toffees come out after the derby win over Liverpool last week. Plus, Spurs will want to bounce back after losing to Inter in the Champions League.

The other two games that tickle my fancy are Sunderland hosting Aston Villa and Stoke hosting Manchester United. Sunderland have drawn five games in a row so will want to buck the trend. They could easily be in the top five or six had they won two or three of those matches. For Man. United, to me it's a must win game as Chelsea should account for Wolves at home. More dropped points for United and it'll be a mountain to climb to win the League.

Get to the thread for Citeh v Arsenal discussion!

Chelsea to do Wolves very easily I think, 2 or 3nil. United to get past Stoke but it was be very tough. Wouldnt be surprised to see the points shared there tbh. Blackburn to hold Liverpool (or would it be the other way round these days? Wink) to a draw at Anfield.
Everton v Spuds on Saturday night should be a ripper. Think ill go with the points shared in this one, 2-2.

We should rape Newcastle based on current form. They were hopeless against Wigan, Plus with Andy Carroll being charged midweek

Trying to get into the EPL a bit more so I'll probably watch a few games this weekend, looking forward to it.

Hopefully Everton can pick up a good result against Spurs. After a poor start to the season we are starting to get ourselves back together, but in saying that White Hart Lane is never an easy place to go to. The midweek UCL match could take a bit out of Spurs so I'm hoping for at least a draw which would we would be happy with.
In the other Saturday games I think Chelsea will take care of Wolves easily and Sunderland, West Brom, Wigan and West Ham to all get wins at home. Man Utd to grab an unconvincing win over Stoke and Liverpool to be held 0-0 at home by Blackburn in the Sunday matches.

Bosingwa to start! Smile Carlo has confirmed this...

'Tomorrow Bosingwa will start from the beginning and this is very good news,' Ancelotti announced.

'Everyone is excited about seeing him play and I hope everything will be okay of him. After one year we have to be patient with him but he had a fantastic period of training and he is fit 100 per cent.'

Team I'd like to see:

Cech
Bosingwa - Ivanovic - JT - Cole
Mikel
--- Essien - Zhirkov ---
Anelka - Drogba - Malouda

Also glad we play our game before City, should be able to extend our lead and put a little bit of extra pressure on them.

As for other games Spurs v Everton should be a treat, VDV to produce some magic to get Spurs the three pts. I think Man Utd will put in a good showing at Stoke, they're due for a good win and Liverpool to finally get their second win of the season.

Big game first up tonight.

Always look forward to the Tottenham Everton fixture (i'm not really sure why). I think mainly because them and Villa have been our big rivals positionally over the past few seasons, so they always seem to take on a bit of extra significance.

Anyway our lineup is pretty strong, good to see Palacios get a start. He has really fallen from grace over the past 12 months.

Gomes;
Hutton, Gallas, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto;
Lennon, Palacios, Modric (c), Bale;
van der Vaart;
Crouch.

SUBS: Cudicini, Bassong, Jenas, Kranjcar, Sandro, Keane, Pavlyuchenko.

And an equaliser straight back for Spurs with VDV finishing off an aerial contest that Peter Crouch chested down in front of goal
