Was absolutely heartbroken for Mark, began thinking that now RB would favour the fukn brat to no end. Alas, his engine fails.

While it's not good Alonso is ahead now, it's only 11 points, and if Mark can get a win and a 2nd place (as long as Alonso doesn't win that race) he can still claim it.

Now that Vettel is 25 points behind Alonso, and 4th behind Hamilton now as well, I wonder if RB will start favouring Webber. One can hope.

^^ i read somewhere that redbull has come out and said that they will be favouring vettel next year anyway so to me thats a sign that they are still gonna support vettel anyway.

If that's true, they should practice what they preach, espesh after giving Ferrari so much crap, and saying they aren't going to get in the way of the title fight this year.

I used to think they were a cool team, but they have lost all respect I had for them.

Where'd you read that btw?

Obviously Vettels engine blowing was a massive plus for Webber. His season was over if Vettel had won that race IMO. Again, obviouslyWebber needs to win in Brazil to have a real shot at the title.

Red Bull was always going to build the team around Vettel for the future, i'm not sure how that would suprise anyone. Even the most biased Australian would admit Vettel is the long-term future of that team. That news also somewhat comfirms that Webber won't be with Red Bull after his current contract expires, if he goes to another team or retires is yet to be seen.

The race was very good to watch, plenty of action. Sutil (i think) made some very very stupid moves all through out the race and it was only time before he got a DNF.

Yeah I can see where you coming from. They might use the excuse that 'he's mathematically in with a chance', but it's probably the right time to understand the reality now.

I agree 100% about the engine failure and Vettel being the long term prospect, but I don't see why with Webber having led the championship for so long previously why they still had give Vettel the biased treatment. This is Mark's last chance of winning the WDC and I'm surethat if they allowed him every chance to win it, he would loyally become the #2 driver next season.

Anyone think Petrov will stay at Renault?
