Being Melbourne and all, you should probably pack sunscreen as well in case the weather decides to change it's mind one afternoon. Rolling Eyes

This proves it though. That and we're almost on the same platform at Southern Cross station.

Arrived back from Melbourne a couple of hours ago.

What a trip.

Derby Day was epic, probably the highlight of the trip to be honest, even in the rain. We just bit the bullet and stood out in it all day, suits were wet for three days and only just ready to go again for Melbourne Cup. Got to stand right on the rail at the finish line all day though, so was worth it imo.

The cricket at the MCG on Wednesday was awesome as well. As has happened to me on one other occasion, decided to call it quits when the 'Lankans were 105 odd for 8 and decided to leave early. Absolutely shattered after ending up watching that amazing finish on a television haha.

Shit haha. A few wins here and there but nothing too substantial. Definitely down. Nothing ridiculous though.

You would have pretty close to my house when you were at the races. After Derby Day some of my housemates friends showed up with slabs and champagne and he wasn't even home.

Sorry about the weather.

Oh true whereabouts is your place mate?

I stayed in Hawthorn, but also spent some time in Richmond and Lalor at some other friends.

Had a good look around most of the city though.

Beers at the Espy in St Kilda on Friday was mint.

Im in Ascot Vale, it is one tram stop passed the race-course, right near the train line as well.

The Espy is a great place as well, though i haven't been there in ages.
