| Who are you guys gonna vote for/have voted for in the All-Star ballot.
Here's my line-up that I submitted:
EAST:
G Brandon Jennings G Ray Allen C Andrew Bogut F Paul Pierce F Danny Granger
WEST:
G Chris Paul G Tyreke Evans C Marc Gasol * F Kevin Love F Kevin Durant
*pretty weak field for me, the only other one I really wanted to vote for was Yao, and I figured the 6 billion votes from China he's getting should be enough for him |

| Someone owes Paul Millsap a big apology.. EAST: G Derrick Rose G John Wall F LeBron James F Andre Iguodala C Al Horford WEST: G Chris Paul G Eric Gordon F Blake Griffin F LaMarcus Aldridge C Marc Gasol West centers is very weak. Would have loved to have any of Horford, Lopez, Noah, Bogut, Dwight or Hibbert in there.. Unfortunately they're all in the East.. I like some first time All-Stars I think Iggy deserves an AS sighting at least once in his career. Feel the same about his former teammate Dre Miller, but couldn't leave out CP3 or Gordon |

| I hate All-Star weekend. Huge popularity contest and selection has lost all credibility with Shaq, an injured Yao, and the AI/T-Mac fiascos in recent years. But I'm gonna vote anyway, 'cause not just leaving it in the hands of the dumbest of the dumb that are the majority of NBA fans these days.
Also find it interesting that All-Star voting can happen ten games into the season. We've just started. Then again, no matter what happens, the same people as always are just gonna get voted in. Wonder how many votes T-Mac gets this time around. Get ready to see T-Mac, Vince Whateverhisnobodynameis and even Iverson start.
Scrap this weekend. |

| If the All-Star game was tomorrow, the starting lineups would be
EAST
G Rajon Rondo (BOS) G Dwayne Wade (MIA) C Dwight Howard (ORL) F LeBron James (MIA) F Kevin Garnett (BOS)
WEST
G Chris Paul (NOH) G Kobe Bryant (LAL) C Yao Ming (HOU) F Kevin Durant (OKC) F Pau Gasol (LAL)
Hard to argue with the West. Yao probably doesn't deserve a spot with his season, but that West centres pool was absolutely shocking. I could have got in over that lot.
In the East, I'd swap Rondo for Derrick Rose and Garnett for Amar'e Stoudamire if I was going by best. But it's not as outrageous as Tracy McGrady or Allen Iverson last year - Rose, Rondo, Stoudamire and Garnett would all be on the team, be it bench or starting anyway. |

| Who woulda thought? Common sense starting to prevail. Rose and Stoudemire, who just might be the two lead favourites for MVP if the season ended today, now both on pace to start, having overtaken Garnett and Rondo. |

| In other news, Brandon Jennings has been selected to be a Slam Dunk Contestant, despite having only attempted 5 dunks in his career (and missed one). Hooray. At least Blake Griffin should be exciting |

| If memory serves, the starters have traditionally been decided by fan vote, but the bench decided by either the coaches in the conference or the coach that will coach the team himself. Is this still how it goes? Or is every roster spot decided by fan vote now? |

Nah, coaches still pick reserves.
Hence why Bogut can still be a serious All-Star contender despite being a white guy from Australia who plays in Milwaukee. |

| Seems right for the most part. Aldridge, Parker, Boozer and Bogut are probably the biggest snubs though there might be one or two others, I didn't spend much time thinking about it. |
