| This coming Friday, it's the time all Cavalier fans have been waiting for since the 9th of July...The return of their once favourite son, LeBron "King" James. Since he announced he was leaving his homeland, there have been different opinions from the Cavs fans. Some despised him for it and burned their #23 jerseys, some accepted his decision. Personally, i accepted the decision, but didn't like it one bit. One thing i can guarantee though, is that I'm ready for him. The fans are ready, and the city of Cleveland is ready. We're waiting..... |

| I won't be home all day, but there's a replay on at 10pm, so I'll be watching it. Hopefully i don't see the score anywhere.
I really hope we can lift for this. If there's a game we can play to our best in, this is it. All the emotion around the game will surely inspire the boys. The Heat aren't in the best form, so hopefully it will be a good contest. If the big 3 are on-song, then unfortunately it could be a long night for us. |

| I think this game will be a massive flop. Apart from the pre-game and early in the 1st Q that is. I probably won't watch it, I think I've got work anyway. |

Agree, the crowd will go berserk for a while, but I can just see Bron lighting it up, Vince Carter vs Toronto Style and completely silencing the crowd. |

| Steve Nash has two of those too. Dirk frigging Nowitzki has one ad we all saw how that season panned out for him. Regular season MVP's what ya look at to solidify a case that already has rings, of which LeBron has none. Who cares what a guy does in the regular season if he bombs out hard in the playoffs and takes his team with him. |

Exactly. As good as an MVP award is, it's all about NBA titles, of which Kobe Bryant has five and more importantly, the last two NBA titles when Cleveland were the title favorites. |

| Mm. The way I look at it, MVPs mean nothing but then take on meaning once you've started winning titles. Once legends start compiling titles, then to compare then we start to look at the MVPs and Finals MVPs they have to back up the case provided by said titles. But if it's just Regular Season MVPs and a bunch of second round losses, meh.
I mean, Dirk Nowtizki and Charles Barkley each have the same amount of MVPs as guys like Shaq and Kobe Bryant, which to me shows you gotta be careful about how much stock you put into the MVP award on its own. Out of the four players I just mentioned it's obvious who we look at as the greater two. |
