Howard Webb has got to be a fan favourite with Pool fans Laughing

Chelsea went goaltastic, won 7-0. Looking forward to our game against Ipswich.

Quite happy with the draw, would give another chance to see one of our Academy products play with Benik Afobe on loan at Huddersfield.

Hard to swallow when you lose because of a poor refereeing decision. Another disgraceful performance from Howard Webb, after his debacle at the WC final it's amazing that he continues to get big games. He always gets United/Liverpool games and always seems to bottle it. It must be a great luxury as a United fan when you know you're gonna be getting dodgy decisions go your way every week.

The red card I felt could have been a yellow, but it was a silly tackle so I have no real complaints about it. But we lost 1-0 by a goal that should never have been.

We showed a lot of heart last night, we lacked that bit of attacking quality but it's always hard to stamp your authority when you're a man down.

It's great to have a manager who actually reacts to what's going on and makes changes accordingly. Babel and Shelvey were both good substitutes for Maxi and Meireles who were having shockers.

I think Babel is gonna get plenty of chances under Kenny, I really hope he takes it. Loved the emotion he showed after the game on Twitter, saying Howard Webb is a joke and posting the pic of him in a United shirt. No doubt the pathetic FA will fine him for it, doubt he'll care though.

Martin Kelly was far and away the best player on the pitch, handled Giggs fairly comfortably, defended extremely well and even looked threatening when he bombed forward on the odd occasion. The lad has a very bright future.

Disappointing to be out of the cup at the hands of poor refereeing, but we've got to focus on the league and restoring some pride in ourselves.

Great to have the King back. His pride and confidence pre-match was very refreshing from Roy's typically negative comments and attempts to lower expectations and you could see how gutted he was after the match - not for himself, but for the club.

Looking forward to Blackpool on Wednesday.

Interesting that none of the Liverpool supporters on here have had anything to say about this match or the Roy sacking/Kenny appointment.

Yeah wasn't a pen, even i can admit that, however the red was fair, late, studs showing, double feet, collected Carrick flush. Was a shocking tackle and if that isn't a red then i don't no what is.

Really should have finished Pool off with our man advantage but just struggled to get into the game, kept losing pozzy and no one really stood up.. I thought Evans was very good when called upon and Carrick was one of our better players. Also thought Ando was decent when he came on, really looking to get things going forward and offered us something different as he usually does.

Pepe really kept them in the game, we wern't really troubled too often but it was disappointing that we couldn't finish the game off. However we are the ones going through.

Berbatov's a fucking joke. Howard Webb really should've picked it up.

Out of both the cups now, hopefully we can put in a strong performance against Blackpool.

2-1 up at HT.
Nasri with a cracking finish off a great move before Sagna belted one in. Some Leeds fella smacked a beauty in from well out of the box that even Woj couldn't get near. Should of been a free kick for us in the build up to it, Arshavin (who has been nowhere, again) was blatantly pulled back. We dominated the first 35 or so but the Leeds goal has given them confidence. If we score early in the 2nd though, it should give us all the momentum again.

-------------------------------

Excellent 3-1 win.
Van Persie sealed it with a nice header of a beautiful Bendtner cross. We were really good, as were Leeds to their credit. A really enjoyable game that could of had a lot more goals in it. Nasri, Sagna and Koscielny were phenomenal.

Coventry went from 2 goals ahead to losing 3-2 to Birmingham. A win would of been a brilliant confidence boost, hopefully the decent performance will be a boost.

United won 2-1, Chelsea and Everton drew and non-league Crawley are into the 5th round.

We play tomorrow morning, should be an easy win. Will say 3-0 with Chamakh bagging a double and Wilshere scoring.

Everton were all over us for most of the game. Really lucky to escape with a draw and earn a home replay. Would have been nice if Ramires stole the win at the end... ah well confident we can get the job done at home.

Yep agree.

Rodwell and Baines were all class for you guys I thought, also been impressed with Coleman from what I've seen of him this season.

Edged a 2-1 win thanks to a late Cesc penalty. But a win is a win.

Nasri got injured and is likely to be out for 3 weeks, will miss the first Barca game Neutral
Squillaci seems to be the common player any game our defence plays really poorly, hope to not see him play for some time. Can be sold in summer for all I care.

Yids Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing
4-0 loss to Fulham.

Guttered. Sad Should never had let it get to penalties, only have ourselves to blame. Lamps was really influential as the game progressed and is showing signs of his best. Everton just didn't look like scoring at all in extra time but credit to Baines, brilliant free kick. Fellaini and Howard were the other standouts imo.

Well done Everton... enjoy the win Sprools.

Fantastic stuff from Everton. What a goal from Baines to send it to penalties as well. Fantastic strike. As for the penalty shootout, no idea what Anelka was doing with his penalty. That was simply rubbish. Take a longer run up I say.

Just watched the highlights of Chelsea/Everton, it really has been a downhill season for Chelsea. Not sure exactly what the problem is. Must be a mental thing as they have pretty much the same squad from last season. Ancelotti has to go...

He'll probably replace Claudio Ranieri at Roma. He's spoken of his desire to manage Roma for years.

Poor Stoke, defended well, especially goalkeeper who pulled off one of the greatest saves I have ever seen, but just not in Man C class, like how the Stoke faithful stayed until they saw their team collect their medals, great loyalty.
