interesting tournament so far, the West Asian nations have really performed quite well so far

Aussies tonight though should win comfortably, 2-0 i reckon with Cahill and Wilkshire scoring

There's some reports saying India's captain Baichung Bhutia is in doubt for the match but then there's other reports are saying he'll start on the bench.

Surely Scotty Mac will break his hoodoo tonight! Smile

Jordan must be absolutely shattered. They did so well for 90 minutes but unfortunately they couldn't hold on.

BTW How many goals have gone in by deflections haha, seems that at least have the goals have so far.

Pumped for the game tonight. I'll tip 4-0.

3-0 up at HT, you beauty. Goals to Timmy, a beautiful strike from Harry and a goal on the stroke of HT from Holman Very Happy
The ref has really been helping out the Indian GK, some soft free kicks have been awarded to him.

Scotty Mac not starting haha, hopefully he can get a run and break the drought.

I'd love to see Robbie Kruse get a run but I doubt it.

Pretty simple first half. Getting the job done though which is all we need.
Not a fan of some of the aimless long ball shyt but the general build up play has been nice. Great strike by Harry.

Would like to see some younger boys get a run in the second half as well.

The boys look good actually better then i expected, still very sloppy in patches but it's hard to judge against this op i guess. Atleast we can't lose from here and they can relax and try and find some rhythm, expect to see a few guns taken off 2nd half and Scotty Mac get on the scoresheet. Has Jedinak touched the ball? Bring on Matty!!

3-0 and have got the job done. Give the guys maybe another 20-30 mins and give em a rest. Also really happy Kewell is playing well, holding up the ball and his dribbling. Good to see he has overcome his injuries.

Cahill should have two or three goals to his name if it wasn't for the refs being touchy and the Indian keeper actually being half decent. Razz But yeah a lot of high and long balls, thought Emerton was good in the first half though.

Number 23 for India thinks he's Becks (God) Laughing .. no chance from their buddy. Is it just me not this stadium so much but during the past games they look tiny, like they arn't built up around the outside and hardly anyone is watching.

Well the training run comes to an end.. Really sloppy second half and without a few decent individual players who knows what may have happened. To say we have to improve from here is an understatement but it was a decent warm up put it that way.

Job done. 3 points, a few goals and no silly cards or injuries.
Pretty poor second half but lets be honest, it was a walk in the park at the toughest of times. Well done to India for never giving up though. Their keeper was impressive.

Thought Matty was good when he came on. Dunno if he did enough to start next game but to me he did more than Jedinak in his 25 minutes on the field. Just me though maybe.

Disappointing 2nd half I guess but as already mentioned we did what we needed to do, get the 3 points and bang in a few goals.

Good performance, we thoroughly deserved to win but our finishing and build-up play in the final third was a tad off, we could've won by a few more goals if we got a few things right. Plus there were a couple dodgy offside decisions, but hey I'm not complaining. 4-0 is a great start to the tournament and I loved seeing the team back in action. We look much better under Osieck than we did under Verbeek.

Something else I loved to see - seeing Harry Kewell run at defenders Very Happy Haven't seen that in ages and it was great to see. I'm happy with the goalscorers too - Cahill obviously, but Harry getting a goal was awesome (quality shot too) and seeing Holman continue his good form was also good to see.

Good result to kick off our campaign!

Plenty of room for improvement...very sloppy in the 2nd half but twas pretty good in the 1st half. As stated not a fan of the aimless long balls need to work on our passing come South Korea...the thing I liked most about the game was that none if the Indians rolled around faking injuries, etc.

Watched the entire game last night and woke up at 2:30pm today! Anyway was a good performance but I think there are some weaknesses needed to look at. Neill and Oggy weren't a good pairing, a few times they were outpaced and nearly conceded at the end. We'll have to see how they perform on Friday night. Jedinak was non-existent. I thought Emerton was very good last night, held the ball up on the wing and made some decent crosses. Kewell and Cahill were great as well. Overall a good team performance.
