Australia vs England
Date: 12 January 2011
Venue: Adelaide Oval

With the Ashes finally over, time for the limited overs to produce some entertaining cricket. Australia will want to forget the loss, so first step is to get revenge on the World Cup T20 final loss to them and want to repeat the thrashing we gave them last series in the ODIs.

Australia

Cameron White (c)
Tim Paine (vc)
Aaron Finch
David Hussey
James Pattinson
Shane Watson
David Warner
Steve O'Keefe
Steven Smith
Mitchell Johnson
Brett Lee
Shaun Tait

---
Michael Clarke has retired from T20 cricket and Michael Hussey, Siddle and Haddin have all been rested.

Very happy that Lee and Tait are back reunited in the pace attack with Johnson who is closing in to hitting the 150km/h mark. Also finally the selectors have made a good decision in selecting Finch and Pattinson in the t20 team. Saw them play 4 nights ago in the Victoria vs Queensland game, them two really was impressive especially Finch with the bat.

England
(probable)
Ian Bell
Steven Davies (wk)
Kevin Pietersen
Paul Collingwood (capt)
Eoin Morgan
Luke Wright
Michael Yardy
Tim Bresnan
Graeme Swann
Ajmal Shahzad
Chris Tremlett

I would drop Davies and put Lumb in to open with Bell while Eoin Morgan will do the keeping duty.

see Pattinson as future of Aus pace attack with Starc Copeland Hazlewood and George, definitely him + starc + copeland...great to see him in. Would like to have seen Nannes and McKay in for Mitch and Lee, mitch is fair bad mckay a decent t20 bowler and nannes gun, lee done nothing since return in t20 even in nz.

Hope mitch is 12th man.

Lol at there being more talk about this than the test.

Dunno what to expect with this though, we are the World Champs of T20 so ill put us as faves. Aus will want to bounce back after the Ashes though.

players like tait and lee are only in the side for entertainment value....if they took this as seriously as the Ashes neither would be in the side i reckon

Also where is Shaun Marsh, bit surprised he isn't even getting a look in

because he is known for his fast, rutheless bowling. All be-it years ago, but he still will pull the crowds to the game.

He also bowled pies in new zealand, hodge and hussey had better bowling figures than him and both were frontline bowlers there.

Quality discaplined bowling from England. They didn't bowl any width at all and bowled to their fields. The fields set by Collingwood were very good as well.

Watto's innings was great, what an over that was against Swanny!

England should get up here but if we bowl well then who knows.

Not enough, England should get the runs easily, but who knows. T20 is a funny game at times.

Looking forward too seeing how Australian's pace bowlers go. Lee, Johnson and Tait. Pace but not much accuracy.
