Guys like Kallis going for 1.1 while much less capable players such as Sharma and Uthappa breaking the 2 million barrier... have the Indian players always cost more then the overseas players in the IPL?

And they always will... basic principals of demand and supply. With 7/11 players having to be Indian and fairly few quality Indian players to fill those 70 slots prices will inflate.

Where as there are alot of quality internationals and limited spots.

Also wouldnt players have international series when this is on why waste money on them when you can buy others that don't.. Pretty smart really.

Englands Intenational summer starts around the time of the IPL.

With Swann, there are alot of quality spinners in India and obviously they're all local.

Hence why some leggie got 900k.
