| Pretty sure we had a thread last year, haven't seen one pop up so I thought I'd create it.
I'll try and update the 16 teams as often as I can, to kick it off, anyone have news with injuries/suspensions for Round 1? |

| Champion is on the extended Bench for Melbourne, I think Bellamy is giving him until Saturday to prove his fitness. Hodges is a week to week proposition, although he's expected back next week. |

| | Quote: | North Queensland Toyota Cowboys second rower Scott Bolton's recovery from injury looks promising, with the Queensland State of Origin candidate a chance to return for Round 4 against the Eels.
Bolton tore his calf muscle during the first half of Friday night’s win against the Brisbane Broncos and it was feared he could be out for as long as six weeks.
However, after having scans on the injury on Monday, his time off the playing field has been listed as “two or three weeks”.
“It’s a shame for Bolts, but it’s good that it’s not going to be a longer stint on the sidelines,” coach Neil Henry said.
Bolton, one of the shining lights for North Queensland last season, is definitely out of Saturday night’s game against Newcastle, with Tariq Sims called up for his NRL debut.
Meanwhile, winger Antonio Winterstein continues to recover well from the broken jaw he sustained in the trial loss to the Broncos in Alice Springs and should be available for selection for the round five home game against the Gold Coast Titans.
Kangaroos centre Brent Tate’s recovery from a knee reconstruction is also progressing well. |

| good to hear Brent Tate's recovery is going well, I wish him all the best. One of the unluckiest players in the game but also one of the best when he's fit. _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/RocknrollHendo

| Kevin Gordon out for the year | Quote: | Scans have today confirmed Jetstar Gold Coast Titans winger Kevin Gordon has suffered a ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and will miss the rest of the 2011 NRL season.
Gordon will undergo a full knee reconstruction in the coming days after suffering the serious knee injury when attempting to make a try-saving tackle on Melbourne winger Justin O’Neill during the second half of Saturday night’s loss to the Storm.
The injury comes as a blow to 21-year-old Gordon, who has played 51 consecutive matches for the club since making his NRL debut in 2009.
Jetstar Titans Coach John Cartwright will name a replacement for Gordon tomorrow when he selects a team for Friday night’s local derby against the Brisbane Broncos at Skilled Park. |

Jarrod Croker is in doubt with a quad injury, Reece Robinson on standby.
Ben Hornby in doubt, Kyle Stanley to cover at halfback if necessary.
Jarrod Mullen to play after severely bruising his sternum. Kurt Gidley to have a fitness test tomorrow.
EDIT: Dugan is 50/50 to play.

| Nathan Smith (Osteitis pubis) - Round 7 Travis Burns should be back next week, but remains a possible chance to be sidelined one week further.
Luke Walsh, Lachlan Coote, Nigel Plum, and Timana Tahu all suffered slight injuries against Cronulla. Walsh looks to be the worst, out long term, I think.
Civoniceva on report, maybe suspension.
