http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/world/magnitude-quake-hits-north-east-japan-3m-tsunami-warning/story-e6frg6so-1226019953390

An oil refinery is on fire and an explosion has occured. It was massive, quite scary to see it happen live.

There's a tsunami warning for the pacific and I've heard various stories about Australia.

The scary thing is, I know a few nuclear scientists from various things, and the general idea is that no-one has a fucking clue how this will end.

The harsh reality is these things weren't built for 9.0 earthquakes and resulting tsunamis and probably shouldn't have been built on one of the most active plate boundaries in the world.

yeah Feldster Japan's up the shit even if they get through this . Everyone will have to increase the safety methods and stuff.... the first thing would be avoiding having these plants on faultlines....and i see you didn't get censored, respect haha.

You build nuclear reactors in a country that gets hit by more earthquakes than anywhere else, kind of dumb.
