Had a 5 wicket win last night in the first Twenty20. Patty Cummins impressing with 3/25. We ended up chasing down SA's target with 3 balls to spare.

We got the win in a 29 over game Grin

We managed 4/183 from our 29 overs with Punter opening who made 63. We then bowled SA out for 129. With Johnno picking up 3/20 and Cummins impressing again with 3/28.

Great to see Punter pick up the MOTM award the other night! Seems as though all our bowlers were pretty good, albeit they only bowled a handful of overs each. Hopefully we can get the job done tomorrow night.

Australia (probable) 1 Shaun Marsh, 2 David Warner, 3 Ricky Ponting, 4 Michael Clarke (capt), 5 Michael Hussey, 6 Mitchell Marsh, 7 Brad Haddin (wk), 8 Mitchell Johnson, 9 Pat Cummins, 10 Xavier Doherty, 11 Doug Bollinger.

Really liking the look of our ODI side, Watson still to come in... also hope it's only a matter of time before Fergo forces his way back into the team.

One of the more easier MOTM awards for Watto. Laughing

Solid effort from our batsman, got the job done... Huss the finisher yet again. Huge effort from our bowlers who set up the win... still don't know how we restricted SA to 222, looked like we would have been chasing 250+ at various stages last night.

Another series win for Clarke. Grin

Great to get the series win. Really hope we can win the upcoming test series as well so we climb back up the rankings.

Was looking so good until we got rolled Laughing

Clarke was immense, 151 on that pitch with a strikerate of 85 odd, made it look easy.

That 2nd innings was pathetic. We bowled well for once then come up with that shit. SA still need 154 so it's a tricky total, hopefully Watto can pull off some magic once again.

What the bloody hell are they playing on Shocked

I go to bed and SAF are 1/40 or something
I wake up and SAF are 1/81
I think it must have rained

Then I see that it is SAF 2nd Innings and I think Beauty we knocked em over and made them follow on, I see SAF all out for 96, Watson 5 wickets

I quickly do some maths and realize that they made too many runs to follow on
Ohh F***
What the hell happened

I scroll down further, Australia out for 47 WTF
Nathan Lyon top scored with 14 Laughing

WTF. Wow.

Haven't been able to watch a ball yet but I've been checking scores. Really looking forward to tonight's play. It seems what SA are chasing wont be easy to get.

Absolute disastrous 2nd innings batting.

We can still win it. Our bowlers need to just rip into them from the 1st ball. Trent Copeland would've been ideal on this type of pitch. His pace and height will get him wickets, shows you dont need to fast to get wickets. Example: Philander is an allrounder who is opening the bowling instead of Morkel. Philander is hitting 125-135 kph and still get wickets. Copeland can deceive batsmen with his lack of pace and his height.

Please Australia, just win it.

Bloody Watto just dropped a sitter at first slip. Gotta take them if we're gonna win this.

Some incredible stats from this match including yesterday all 4 innings were played in the same day, incredible!

The less said about that performance the better. Serious questions need to be asked about our batting, we've been knocked over for under 100 runs three or so times now in the past 12-18 months... not good enough. Hard to believe Clarke's memorable knock has pretty much been forgotten, what an innings from the skip! Pretty disappointing no one stood up in our second innings, Haddin's dismissal was a disgrace.

Mitch Johnson really needs to go back to Shield Cricket and string together some consistent performances. I think we will only see one or two changes for the next match, Copeland/Cummins in for Johnson and Khawaja for Marsh (if ruled out).
