It was not that hard for the people of Melbourne to watch it in the end anyway. In fact i probably finished watching the first season before it finished on TV.

Underbelly is a tad over-rated, for an Australian made show it is great considering some of the past and current shows that are made here and there was of cause a very interesting plot in season one (even though they changed a lot of it from what really happened).

but there was some shocking acting in the first season, they relied on sex scenes far too much and in a way it glorified a bunch of guys that were really just a bunch of drugged up idiots who thought they were better then everyone else.

good show but it wasn't as good as i thought it would be, another 9 stunt to hype it up and over advertise it and then fail to deliver to everyone's expectation. Season 2 hopefully will be better

It sure was interesting when it was actually happening people were getting killed every 3 or 4 months in Victoria at certain periods. You'd see it on the news and think Jesus Another one what Mayhem. Now they've moved to the Gold Coast it seems maybe "underbelly 5 on the coast" eventually.

I think it's overrated. As Fuzzy said, it's just glorifying a bunch of arrogant crooks.

If you're actually interested in the history, read a book like Shotgun City or Leadbelly that gives a factual account of the events and doesn't get carried away with trying to be cool.

Yes, it's all glitz and glamour, but when you consider the destruction these people are responsible for, it seems tasteless to be making heroes of them.

Caught up with the latest episodes.

The Melbourne story line is a lot better then the Sydney one, hopefully in the next episodes they just focus on Melbourne.

Not as good as last year, and why they are still using a shaky camera i dont know.
