| Toyota cup trial between roosters and knights on saturday.
The Sydney Roosters Toyota Cup side will play their first trial match of the New Year this Saturday against the Newcastle Knights.
Coach Scott Murray will get his first real indication of what squad he will select for the 2009 season after indicating earlier this year that he will not be employing a rotation policy between players.
The match will be played at the St Johns Oval, Bulla Street in Central Charlestown with kick off scheduled for 4.55pm.
Their will be two teams that will tackle the Knights over four 20 minute quarters on the weekend.
Team #1 – Blue Jerseys Grant Nelson, Cyprian Ale, Falago Sa, Tom Baddock, John Kelly, Matt Hands, Jake Gearin, Tom Pelo, Olireti Samuely, Andrew Clayton, Robert Williams, Lapetti Timani, Jerome Leolahi, Dylan Sharp, Anthony Gellings, Michael Cummings, Valeni Tia Tia.
Team #2 – White Jerseys Luke Towers, Andrew Haines, Sandor Earl, Matt Nelson, Junior Rika, Michael Cummins, Tim Condon, Valeni Tia Tia, Peter Fitzpatrick, Issaac Maliota, Mose Masoe, Ben Murray, Sam Brunton, Ray Tafokitau.
Isn't it a bit weird playing with 2 teams |

Not really. The Tigers played with two sides in Return to Redfern on Saturday.
The Panthers are playing two different sides in two different games on the same day and same time this weekend |

Not really. Trial Games are unlimited to how many players you name. The side with the less amount of players named would of had the opportunity to do the same, to their discretion they decided to name a limited squad. Obviously It's still 13 a side on the field at any one time. |
