| Worst one that Adelaide has done:
Trading a heap of draft picks, including a pick that became Daniel Wells, to North Melbourne for the out of favour Wayne Carey
Worst ever trade:
Two way tie - both Fremantle failures.
Fremantle trading new recruit Andrew McLeod to Adelaide for Chris Groom Fremantle trading the No. 1 pick in the 2001 Super Draft to Hawthorn for Trent Croad (who later returned to Hawthorn) |

| Trading Pick #4 in 2000 was very risky, especially for a key defender (Wakelin). Turned out to be a great move though, he was one of our great players and 2000 was a weak draft.
The worst move we have ever made is not getting anything for Nick Stevens. Collingwood were offering decent trades, but we were being too stubborn and in the end he went in the pre-season draft and we got nothing.
One bad one that comes to mind is we traded our first round draft pick for Nathan Lonie. With that pick, Hawthorn got Grant Birchall. |

| Recently the Doggies haven't made any bad trades. Only good ones (McMahon for pick19 - Callan Ward, pick34 - Chris Shmidt for Jason Akermanis) I'm sure if the club had their time again they would take back the Veale Deal. On official paper the Veale Deal was shocking for us. WBD Receive: Lachlan Veale (lose Alvey) HAW Receive: Danny Jacobs (lose Veale) ESS Receive: Mark Alvey (lose Jacobs) The Dogs gained the Hawks word that they would not trade Jade Rawlings though, alowing us to take him with the first pick in the pre-season draft. A very messy deal, that gave us somewhat of a bad name. Worst ever would have to be McPharlin and Croad for pick 1, 20 and 36 Pick 1 and 36 turned out to be Luke Hodge and Sam Mitchell |

| carlton's a dillweed, it's already been established.
The worst for North Melbourne would be the Jade Rawlings trade and the Jonathan Hay trade. |

It was a crap trade for Adelaide. But, it was only 2 draft picks im pretty sure in the end and one of them never played an AFL game im pretty sure. Also i thank Carlton more for Daniel Wells then Adelaide, you did originally give us pick 4.
Norths worst trade as Cynic said was the Hay trade, which was a risk that we needed to do.
The Motlop trade also didn't end up that great in the end either. |
