Not under any circumstances to I condone what has happened here.

I just dont get WHY they did it, why would they do it, we fucking won.
The only thing I can think of is maybe during the game they were giving Nathan shit and his Dad said something.

Though if this was at an A-league game, the media would run with it for months and want to football finished in the country.

Eddie does not need to defend them, but he needs to outline the fact that not all Collingwood fans act in this manner. One in ten thousand fans would probably resort to that kind of violence. I hope those guys are ban from attending afl matches for a very long period of time, and are made to pay for the medical bill for Mr Jones.

I agree 100% with all of this.
Eddie needs to give an apology out for the way they acted, but he can not be blamed for there behaviour. And as you said, it is not all of our fans.
Several of them are utter dickwits, But there are many good fans.

I saw this brawl, I was literally standing five meters from it. His kid was bawling his eyes out.

Fucking hell, this is a disgrace, they should be happy that they won and not go out and bash someone up, and the security there is disgraceful, they are WALKING to the scene, not running but walking and I said to one of them "Hurry the F*** up, this is your job not ours"

And after the brawl ended, I walked past them three and said "You fucking Collingwood supporters" and one of them stuck his finger out at me.
