For anyone who cares it's an East Coast Low (ECL), not a 'killer storm' or mini-tornado as the media are suggesting

yeah you are copping it now brad

thats the forecast:

Fine at first, further showers this afternoon with possible thunder. Moderate
S/SW winds tending NW'ly this afternoon.

so make the most of the fine weather

im surprised the uni wasn't closed yesterday, or even if it had been closed today would have been no surprise heaps of swiftwater rescues in caloundra last night they got 250mm

They had to shut off Nicklin Way just after I drove there when it was flooding in Kawana yesterday, I just made it out. I got stuck at a Fuel Station for a bit.

I went down this road and the water was like 3 foot deep, so I drove on the foot path, did a turn around manouvre, then I was driving back and the way I came in was flooded, so I was stuck. But then I found a path through..

So fucke.d

My whole area, Crestmead & some of Browns Plains/Marsden had no power for about 5 and a half hours.
