All the best people, hope all is safe and well. Went through the floods a few years ago up North here and obviously that was pretty bad... hard to believe just how bad these current floods are though.

Does anyone have an update on the floods not watching the news or anything.. Yesterday they said the worst of it would be Thursday in Brissy is this still the case or are things looking a little better?

Still probably the worst to come will be tomorrow.

As Caity said The Drift was floating down the Brisbane River, amazing pictures really.

And two more found in the Lockyer Valley area one in his house and one in a creek.

Yep.

At the moment 106 roads are closed, and we will see plenty more.

Just saw some pictures of Suncorp Stadium which isn't looking great. A lot of water and it caught fire from a vent which a generator is behind apparantly.

This is a bit late, haven't been online for a while, but my thoughts are with everyone caught up in these horrific floods, and wish Brisbane and the other towns affected throughout Australia a successful recovery.

RIP to those who drown in the inland tsunami.

250kmph winds, category 3 atm going to be at least 4, mackay being told to evacuate,

1 metre of rain projected to be dumped, could be flash flooding. worse than larry i've heard

Not good. They originally had the coast down to Hervey Bay (near me) on watch so I was a bit worried.
Hope everyone pulls through alright, I have quite a few friends and family around that area.
