| I know it's still a couple of weeks away but now that the lame Twenty20 season is over it's back to the real stuff, some good old test match cricket. Not only that, but the biggest series on the cricket calendar. The first test starts on July 8 in Cardiff, with Australia having warm up matches against Sussex and England Lions before the first test. England squad

Ricky Ponting (C) Michael Clarke Stuart Clarke Brad Haddin Nathan Hauritz Ben Hilfenhaus Phillip Hughes Michael Hussey Mitchell Johnson Simon Katich Brett Lee Graham Manou Andrew McDonald Marcus North Peter Siddle Shane Watson Let's get some chat happening, the Ashes are almost here!!!!

Rashid is a promising young legspinning allrounder. Onions is a quick picked from obscurity, and he took 7 wickets on debut.

| Australia vs Sussex - Stumps Day 1 Haddin made 69 and Hauritz is currently on 65 not out. Lee, Clarke, Katich all scoring in the 40 (Lee is not out) And M. Hussey makin 32. Hughes only made like 15 Australia 7/349 |

| Hughes hit 12 off the first over. Ponting needs to hit form, and fast. |

*Has proven it is possible to be soft in cricket every little injury brings howls of laughter from this Aussie. Actually injury is not the right word soreness maybe would be better. |

| Get rid off Hilfenhaus for Lee. I know he hasnt set the world on fire Lee, but you need him in England, he is quick, can swing it and gets reverse swing, AND, has been on 2 previous ASHES tours to England. |
