| My thoughts on Lucas?
Overrated already. He can find the pill, doesn't know how to use it. His quick and flashy, i'll give him that, but if he goes any higher than 7-8 than it's overpricing him. A good comparison is Rhys Palmer. Both find the footy at will, both have shocking disposal.
Rohan. Absolute gem. Would take him with Richmond's first pick in a heartbeat. Gives Buthcer a run for his money as the best forward in this year's crop. He's a bloodnut as well which makes it even more interesting.
Panos. Similar to Rohan. Should go late first round, early second round. So much potential with this bloke, however he somtimes gets lost up forward though and doesn't command the ball like he should. Knows how to take a grab, obviously using his bigger frame to out-muscle his opponents. Best set shot in the Carnival too. |

| We've been hearing heaps about the WA kids. The Matera kid (Wally Materas son) is a gun. He is so good, So is Lewis Jetta who stated today he is looking forward to getting drafted and wanted to go to eagles. That kid is a gun and is so fast, I really like him. Hes tiny/skinny - but boy can he run. |

Matera will head to the Gold Coast as one of the 17 year olds.
A shame really. |

| I know, it's shitting me that GC rule. The amount of Younguns their taking is shit. It also delays the kids getting into the AFL by a year. Guys like Toy & Mitchell are epic, but having to go to GC17. When they're dominating 3-4 years after coming in, the AFL will realise |

The AFL don't care, why else do you think they're allowing this?
They just want the money they think the GC will provide with its supporter base.
Someone please remind me why Brisbane has the lowest membership base in the AFL again?... |

Tell me about it.
Gold Coast are going to be the dominant force of the AFL in 4-5 years with the quality 17 year olds they are going to pick up. Darling is another name that looks the goods. |

| no, GC get GUARANTEED SELECTION of any 12 born from Jan-April 1992, the others go into next years draft. That's Darling, Toy, Mitchell, Matera as some, all would be first rounders this year. Piss poor from AFL |

| Rohan (vey good, has shot up in draft calculations with a good carnival) -Panos (good CHF, want him at the blues) -Lucas (had poor carnival but showed what he can do in last game, top 10 pick) -Swallow (extremely god player, cant be drafted though- off to GC) -Duncan (great skills will go 1st round somewhere) |

| Kane Lucas will be a top 5 pick, no doubting that. Its a shame that some people on here make a judgment on him, based on his carnival performance. Before making a comment on him, perhaps you should actually watch his WAFL games, because he is a star for East Fremantle.
David Swallow is too young, and I see him going to the GC for sure.
This draft is another draft dominated by top class WA players. Western Australia is producing some great players |
