I'm bloody sick of her.
She RAVES on about Ablett soooo much.
She is always saying Hogan with it, when Hawkins has it. or Hawkins with it now, when Hogan has it.
She refers to stats too much.

Piss off Kelli Underwood !!!

I have no problems with female commentators, but as I've never bothered watching TEN's coverage unless the Crows are on (I listen to the radio if I'm interested, commentary is better, and easier to multi-task) I don't know how good this Underwood woman is at commentating, as I've never heard her.

Hogs the commentary as mentioned, I have no problem with female commentators, but this one is soo annoying, and she doesn't know what she's talking about when it comes to set shots etc

I agree, sort of.
Some of the stuff she says is like she is reading a script, the cliches and stuff like that. That was only the second full game of afl she has been a commentator for, last time it ws a NAB cup match or a game very early in the season.
Its going to take a while to get used to her voice, and i found it not as bad seeings how this is the second time i have heard her.
It has nothing to do with gender and never should, commentators should be judge purely on how they perform. ATM she is learning, and im sure some of the games better commentators didnt impress at the very start.
I for one find many of the TV commentators to have horrible voices, some to high pitched, some to whiney, whatever, but im used to it now.

Anddd i dont think she will be commentating very much/very many games at all, because iirc she is a Geelong girl (from SA but moved here) and both of the times she has done the commentry it has been for a game geelong was playing in. I was at the game the first time, and only heard it when i watched a video of the match, and it wasnt a foxtel game ... so that means it was either:
Geel v Adel (nab rnd 1) - i believe it was this match
Geel v Coll (nab final)
Geel v Coll (rnd 3)
Geel v Melb (rnd 5?)
So she obviously feels more comfortable with geelong (her knowledge of players or what ever ... and c'mon, all geelong fans love ablett, dont hold that aginst her, lol) and because she can only commentate for one team, i dont see her doing it much at all. Plus, last time everybody cracked it, and said they wouldnt watch the coverage if she was on it...
Dont complain.

Cmon Cavemen get with the times (I find Her Commentary to be Thoughtful & Very Insightful* and offer a different perspective on the Game) Has To Better Than A. Experts who think there shit don't stink. B. People that claim catching a ball is courageous or Special 50 times in 1 game.

*No idea never heard her or even watch games i don't bet on.

It doesn't really bother me if she's commentating, wait till you see a female run a football club then they will get them talking. I know at some clubs that they have got females on the board of a football club.

Correct me if i'm wrong that Julie Bishop deputy leader of the liberals she is on the eagles board currently.

Most clubs have had women working behind the scenes or on the board now for years. Footy clubs still hate them though....apparently.

Nice Heading Laughing

Worst commentator, very annoying voice, and if the other guys try to have a joke with each other, she continues being a boring bitch. If there's gonna be a chick commentator, get SOMEONE DECENT!

Giving her a role as a commentator just because of her gender is what i have a big problem with. I tend to find sexist stuff (remarks, views, ideals) rather offencive, and i think channel ten think they are trying to look like they are stopping sexism, but thats not how it comes across to me. They are being sexist are they not? havent they given her the role based on her gender? Thats not fixing anything.
I find it stupid that they would put somebody in the job based on there gender - that is sexism . . . . I may be alone in thinking this, but i think she was given the role because she is a she. There would be plenty of males out there with more experience being a commentator, and a better CV, she shouldnt be chosen before them just because she is a female.

she will get better at the commentating and all that stuff, and the public will get used to her voice, but i do think she should have had more experience previously.. like commentating vfl?
