Who has the best loose forward trio in the Tri-Nations.

I think now Burger isn't in the Boks line up its a lot more even between NZ and SAF. Aussie are third, but still very strong in comparison with northern hemisphere teams.

8s
1. Spies
2. So'oialo
3. Palu

7s
1. McCaw
2. G. Smith
3. J. Smith

6s
1. Burger (daylight between him and the other 6s, thankful for us and Aus he wont be there)
so....
1. Brussouw
2. Kaino
3. Brown

Well that's the way I see it. So South Africa still a bit stronger but not as much as they would be with Burger in there.

On paper its the Boks but as a unit I think our guys are starting to gel really well.

Kaino was huge in last years Tri Nations and he showed the same sort of form again on Saturday. He's become an absolute beast defensively.

If you bring Rocky Elsom into 6 for the Wallabies then pick either Brown or Palu for 8 (I take Brown) then they suddenly look a lot stronger.

Very true, when is Elsom due back?? He will add a big boost to that trio. Have to disagree with you though P'Rus, I take Palu in 8 still Very Happy

Pfft - Palu is overrated. He's aussie's answer to Sione Lauaki.
