Just heard on the radio that James O'Connor and Phil Waugh nearly came to blows during a training session in Sydney.. Words were exchanged and Waugh apparently clenched his fist ready to throw a punch.. Will post a link when i find one...

Not a bad thing its always good to have abit of competition etc for spots in the team, just found it interesting that it involves the youngest player in the squad and a veteran

waughs probably pissed off rabbit has a long long long time ahead of him in the game and hes coming to the end...plus hes a little hobbit, probably reminds himself of that everyday too

I reckon O'Connor is just one of those typical arrogant youngsters that needs to be put in to place, Waugh came close to doing what all the senior team mates wanted to see.

Not a Good thing there Repping Australia And they can't even get along .........Disgraceful . Should be in it together win lose or draw. I know what i mean i just can't explain it very well. They don't Punch (Or show Much aggression against) Opposition players so they sure as hell shouldn't be fighting each other

This is definitely more common then you probably think. I know for a fact Hika Elliot had issues with So'oialo and Weepu...it seems its always about the younger guys being to arrogant and the older guys putting them in their place.

Maybe that's another reason Elliot got hiffed to the Chiefs...and why they subsequently left him dry on the bench...

I reckon it certainly has something to do with it. See he's even on the bench for the magpies!
