| Actually quite a bit, idiots seem to vote for new songs too. Top 10 is generally pretty similar to previous years but the rest is a bit different. _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/RocknrollHendo

| I don't usually expect the Beatles to poll well in these things anyway. Mainly because unlike other legendary bands that have a clear greatest song (Led Zep's Stairway, Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water, The Kinks' Lola), no Beatles fan can ever agree which Beatles song is best, so there's never a song which really polls well, except occasionally "Hey Jude" or "A Day In The Life" |

| Rubbish.
They're terribly underrated, and absolutely thrash the likes of Coldplay. |

| I saw/heard Keane for the first time on the Jools Holland show last Friday night on ABC2... I wouldn't say they're shit by any means, they were definitely one of the best on the show that night (three-way tie on that show with Bloc Party and Jakob Dylan IMO).. but I don't think they've got anything on Coldplay, whom I think have been the best artist of the last decade |

| There are a plethora of much better artists than Coldplay to emerge this decade. They haven't brought anything new, or overly interesting, to the table that other artists haven't already implemented with a better end product. And their blatant theft from Joe Satriani, for an average song that received Grammy nominations, is a disgrace.
I'll wait until later in the year to do a decade in review thread. But it should make for some interesting reading, and might remind me of some awesome albums I have gathering dust. |

| Any other decade, Coldplay would have been nowhere near the best artist of the decade in my eyes... even in the 80's and 90's, they still had the Traveling Wilburys, Oasis, Nirvana, U2, KISS, Wacko Jacko etc in those decades.... But this decade, for someone who isn't a fan of dance, electronica, hip-hop, rap, hardcore genres, but of rock, this decade has been piss weak. Many bands have come out with one good album, some old hands of the business have released some rippers (Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, even Ringo released a few good songs), but both Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head have joined my favourites for the decade, which is enough to make them best this decade. It's just been an overall shit decade really, dominated by the Idol franchise I'll also post a musical review of the decade at the end of the year |
