For Me I'm a Proud to be an Aussie For Many Reasons (just wish we could beat the All Blacks) Mainly cause we got it Good .

Proud to be French coz we had Zidane, won the world cup in 98, and Euro 2000.
I'm proud for many reasons, but waving the white flag is not one of them.

Being of Polish/Eastern European descent there's not much I can say on that, but bravo to them for whatever they've done.

I'm proud to be an Aussie cause we got the best sport AFL and just living here is fantastic.

I have English, Burmese and assorted European countries in me (Portugese, Italian and a couple others), but mostly Aussie though.

I'm proud to be an Aussie because I've grown up listening to my grandpa's stories, who despite having German heritage, joined up with the ANZACS and fought at Kokoda. Hearing those stories just makes you feel proud to have had those men represent your country.

Also proud to be an Aussie because the Adelaide Crows are also Australian.

And, again, proud to be an Aussie because George Harrison named one of his albums after a phrase he heard in Australia ("Gone Troppo") Smile

Plenty of the time I am ashamed to be Australian due to the behaviour of many people in this country.

I guess what makes me proud is that we live in a country that has offered a new and better way of life to so many people who were poor and in danger in their home countries.

I like it feldster my mums dad was in darwin when it was hammered and her uncle was in the battle of the Coral Sea who went on to be a singer who entertained the troops in Vietnam bit of history for ya.

Great country to live in, so many opportunities and it's a great country. Smile

I'm going to Europe next year and one of the things I'll be doing is going to the battlefields and graves of ANZAC soldiers, so no doubt my pride will be strengthened Very Happy
