[Very Good Mail] Sam & Luke Burgess [Fletchy Weidler]

I've had very good mail that Luke Burgess will head to Manly on a 2 year deal. Sam to the Rabbitohs on a 3 year deal.

Especially I can confirm Sam's signing as after the dragons game on friday night in the members bar rusty and richo had a projector on showing Burgess playing and pretty much announced that he is signed.

Luke is slightly older brother. Thomas and George Burgess their younger twin brothers are also expected to make the transition to the NRL via Toyota Cup.

I expect Thomas and George to stick together wherever they go but I tip that they won't be going to Redfern or the Northern Beaches.

I'd expect the Twins to sign with a Sydney-Based Club in order to be close to Luke & Sam. I am tipping the Roosters.

To be honest, He isn't that flash. Good aggressive player in defence. He plays front-row/second-row.

I was at the game and I was in the members bar afterwards. He showed a collabaration of Sam Burgess and his confidence in luring him to the club was to the point that he was already signed.

i think he was referring to the fact that it would have been saturday night after the dragons game, unless you mean another dragons game of course...

Burgess can play 2nd row, so he'd probably go there with Pettybourne & Crocker. Asotasi & Taylor to start up front.

We haven't really got any high payed players. Roy and Crocker would be the only ones on big contracts along with Taylor coming. With Wing and Kidwell leaving, it opens plenty of room to make a move.

Roy is being groomed to play in the backrow from what i've heard. This would put Stuart and Burgess in the front row, with Taylor, Cocker and Roy in the back. Pettybourne will move back to the bench where he has more impact along with Geddes, Tyrell and a utiltiy (Possibly Simpson, Falloon or Clark).

Article someone posted on Sportal has some guy from sky sports guranteeing Burgess will be at the Eagles next year due to them taking on his brother Luke.

Ok, Burgess is signed. Apparently he has been signed up to about two weeks ago.

The reason why the announcement is delayed somewhat is the negotation of release going on with Bradford releasing him from the final year of his contract with them, We are going through an obstacle course to try and secure Burgess for next year.

As it stands, It's confirmed by several Insiders at Souths that Burgess will head to Redfern in 2011.

Insiders at Manly are also saying that Sam Burgess along with brother Luke will be at Manly next year.
