2009 VFL Grand Final: North Ballarat vs Northern Bullants

The VFL Grand Final will be played on the eve of the AFL Grand Final at Etihad Stadium on Friday 25 September, 2009 at 7.10pm with North Ballarat and the Northern Bullants.

The TAC Cup Grand Final between the Dandenong Stingrays and Calder Canons will be played before the match, commencing at 4.10pm.
North Ballarat are the reigning premier - winning the innaugural Etihad Stadium Grand Final last year.

The Northern Bullants will be tough opposition for the Roosters. The club is aligned with Carlton FC and will receive a boost with a large pro-Bullants crowd expected to attend.

We had a solid one last week with. Chris Yarran had a fantastic game last week with 5 goals! Joey Anderson and C. Cloke also played well.

my tip is North Ballarat why?!

- Showed more poise during their game (V Collingwood)
- 5 day break for Bullants and their game would've been very taxing!
- North Ballarat have expierence winning these games i.e 2008 v Port Melbourne

Bullants looked very good in 1st half against Port

Yarran was a star with 5 goals, 2 absolutely amzing ones
Cloke and Fisher looked like they would mark anything
Anderson gave good run from half back

And that little guy, dont know his name. Very courageous

Hopefully Yockabucci or whatever his name is comes up ok

Lets go ROOSTERS!!!!!! i've only been to one match this year, and that wasnt even to support them (i was supporting Coburg) but i've watched plently on t.v and follwed in the paper

Goodes needs to have a big one he has been a bit quiet the last couple of weeks, and we'll let him know at school if he doesnt.
Aaron Edwards kicked 4 last week so he and fellow North Melbournian Corey Jones will be the targets up forward
